h-kon GmbH, based in Ravensburg, has been successfully sold to arco-holding GmbH, based in Waiblingen. Through this acquisition, both companies are pooling their engineering and technological expertise, creating a strong foundation for the joint further development of innovative solutions in battery testing technology and specialised machine construction. 

With this merger, arco-holding is specifically expanding its expertise in the field of battery testing technology and specialised machine construction. At the same time, new synergies are emerging in development, engineering and technical project implementation, enabling forward-looking projects.

The transaction was completed on 23 June 2026. Following the change of ownership, Antonio Coiro will take over as managing director of h-kon GmbH. Roland Arnold, h-kon’s former CEO, will no longer serve on the management board.

h-kon specialises in the development of assembly and testing processes for battery cells, modules and packs. The company offers comprehensive solutions in plant engineering – from project planning and design through to commissioning, maintenance and service, right through to the implementation of bespoke test bench technology. In doing so, h-kon makes an important contribution to the technical infrastructure underpinning the energy and transport transitions.

The integration into arco-holding GmbH will see the expertise of both companies brought together in a targeted manner. The focus is on the further development of high-performance, efficient and practical solutions for demanding technical projects – particularly in the fields of battery testing technology, automation, specialised machine construction and technical project implementation.
